Hi, my name is Xheva.
Welcome to my creative journey through life and art! Born in Kosovo and raised in Germany, I discovered the transformative power of art early on. With a soul as sensitive as that of pisces, I found solace in painting, immersing myself in different worlds, and creating my own escape into art.
My artistic talent was always present, from childhood to moments when my teachers recognized my abilities. However, growing up with the belief that artistic fame is only achieved posthumously or that art is a thankless craft led me to pursue a degree in interior design. I didn't want to entirely abandon creativity and design.
Persuaded by my sister, I eventually found myself in the beautiful Switzerland, where I painted my first self-portrait. After a career change, I dedicated five years to home staging, allowing my creative spirit to flourish in countless homes and apartments. Yet, a transformative experience, coupled with the challenges of the Covid era, prompted me to question my life and its purpose.
Once again, I found the answer in art. Without a clear vision, images emerged from within me, revealing my deepest intentions upon reflection. Each piece reflects themes that occupy my subconscious – life decisions, experiences, hardships, or observations. This creative process feels liberating, a personal way to give meaning to life.
In my first series, fear, a sense of new beginnings, questioning, and hope shaped my works. With my second series, I aim to spread joy, freedom, positivity, and a desire for dreaming. A return to the roots to bring joy to the world through my art. My goal is to touch people with my art, fill their homes with positive energy, and provide them with a sense of home in my paintings.
