Self-portrait – The Journey into the Unknown

My first painting in Switzerland, created in a small village, is titled “Selfportrait – The Journey into the Unknown.” This self-portrait is the result of artistic expression after a year of residence and the decision to leave my familiar home in Germany and venture into the unknown.

The painting, rendered in black and white, reflects the complexity of my emotions. The closed eyes are a striking feature symbolizing the uncertainty and transition between the past and the future.
